There are three main things to consider regarding an annuity:

• Your funds after your death

Do you want a higher income now, accepting the eroding effects of inflation? Or are you prepared to take a much lower income initially, which then increases each year to combat inflation? Perhaps you would like to have an income without purchasing an annuity, thereby preserving your funds for your beneficiaries. Or you may just want to access your tax-free cash.

Annuity Club for IFAs

Only a handful of IFAs conduct significant levels of annuity business, but almost all do a little.

By referring business through us, it will generally be possible to achieve a higher level of income for your client, than under standard terms. We will do all the work to transact the annuity purchase and we will pay an introducers fee to you for passing the business to us (subject to our minimum fee). If you prefer, however, we can use this to further enhance your clients annuity.

Blackstone Moregate has a specialist annuity department and all work and liability for the advice is accounted for through our firm. The client will receive limited advice regarding conventional and enhanced annuities only. Any other annuity options will be referred back to the introducing IFA unless otherwise instructed. Once transacted the client will have no further dealings with Blackstone Moregate.
